Senior Notes
Lotto numbers for last week were 3,8,13,20 with no winner. Lucky dip winners
were Trisha Coombs The Fairways, Kieran O Brien Bloomfield, Steve Seagrief
Briarfield and Alan O'Shaughnessy Superdine Next week lotto with be 14,500
euro. Well done to Brian Geary on another good game for Limerick againsst
Wexford.
The Golf Classic a great sucess in Ballkkisteen Golf Club last Thursday
and Friday was a great success with over 30 teams taking part. The winning
team from Tipperary had 73 points and second were the Leo Morrison's team
who had 72 points. Also well done to the 3 juvenile players from the club
who played in the classic and finished 5th overall (Sean&Daniel Power,
Leo Morrison). Well done to all involved.
Monaleen Golf Society had their Captains Prize (Sean Meaney) in Dundrum
G.C last Saturday in beautiful weather. The winner was Seamus O'Doherty
who had 40 points ,next was Pa Ryan on 37 points and great night after
in Morrisons was had by all.
Juvenile Notes
Our under 12 Girls Footballers won the County Shield Final recently with
a dramatic one point victory over Oola, in Pallaskenry.
Oola were two goals to the good at half time but a brilliant performance
in the second half saw the Monaleen girls take a one point lead with minutes
remainng. Oola pressed forward in search of an equaliser, but great defensive
work from Shalini Kujur, Annie Russell, Bronagh Kelly and Ellie May Kearney
saw Monaleen hold on for a narrow victory.
Sorerers on the night were Caitlin Bonfil, Ellie Nolan and Claire Kelly
with a goal a piece, while Chloe Tobin, Ellie Nolan, Claire Kelly (2)
and Ciara Neville added the points, to give Monaleen a 3 -5 to 4 -1 win.

Reminder VHI Cúl Camp will be running inMonaleen GAA club on Monday
4th July to Friday 8th July. This is a hurling and football camp for boys
and girls age 7-13. Cost is €55 for 1 child, €100 for 2, €130
for 3. A full kit and knapsack is included in the price. Registration
will take place on the first day of the camp. Full details of the camps
