The minor hurlers played Monegea in the county final ,it was a hard fought game that we were always chasing and eventually lost we had great performances from Darragh Madden, Luke Murphy and David Mulhall well done to all involved for a great year.
After a great game of football our Senior footballers eventually lost out by one point to UCC in the munster championship played in Cloughduv Cork on Sunday the 6th. We had a superb start with a Luke Kavanagh goal helping us to 1-3 to 0-1 lead however UCC brought the score back to 1-3 to 0-5 by half time. It was nip and tuck all through the second half with a late Darren Bourke goal giving us a one point lead going into injury time. UCC kicked a last second free to bring the game into extra time and UCC closing out with a one point margin. It was a fantastic effort from our lads who never gave up.. We had great performances from all our players but especially mention to Pete Russell, Luke Kavanagh, Jack Hoare and Seamus Hickey. A special word of thanks to the management team and all who supported the team through the season and finally the brilliant support we had on the day who did our club and county proud.

The final match was against Granagh Ballingarry and while Monaleen had all the chances it finished scoreless.
