Our U12 footballers continued their recent form with a fine win over a determined Galbally side last Thursday nite in the clubhouse pitch. Galbally started brightly and goaled within the first minute. This seemed to galvanise Monaleen , whoplaying against the wind, dominated for the rest of the first half. Darragh McCrann, again playing a fantastic game as the target man, goaled to bring the sides level and further scores from Shane Donegan, Cathal Carew and Conor Nicholas, ensured Monaleen had a comfortable lead at half time. The second half saw furtherscores from Alex O’Donoghue, Shane Donegan and Eoin O’Shea whichcontributed to a fine Monaleen scorelineagainst a gallant Galbally side. Impressive for the hosts were Cathal Quilter, Conall McAteer, Philip Harty and Sam Burns.
