Monaleen Juvenile GAA Club

Brilliant sunshine welcomed the girls onto the pitch for their second match against Cappamore this season, this time a home venue. All girls were eager to get the match started and showed great enthusiasm right from the whistle. But as soon as the game began so did the rain and wind. All players showed good spirit and played their best on the day.

Monaleen were a goal down at half time however it did not take from their determination for the second half. Cappamore were very strong and Monaleen made it hard for them to score with the backs clearing well. Cappamore were the winning team on the day nevertheless Monaleen held their heads high and were very unlucky not to score on many occasions.

A good match girls, regardless of the score. Well done.
